"We were really drawn to how beautiful Crockwell is, from the long drive up, the wild flowers lining the lane, the beautiful bar area and intimate ceremony room, and a separate dance floor! It's rare to have so much space, without space doubling up (eg. moving tables away to make a dance floor)."

Charlotte and Tom put their faith in the professionals for their stunning Spring wedding. Having decided that they didn't want to marry in church, a beautiful, intimate ceremony space was a priority for them. They wanted to ensure that the day was filled with personal touches and that seasonal blooms took centre stage.

Charlotte says "on-site accommodation wasn’t a priority for us when we were searching, but in hindsight I am so pleased we did have that. It meant that for us and our immediate family it wasn't just a day. It was an entire weekend which was so special.

There is a lot to organise, so have faith in the professionals! Florists are so much better at pairing flowers together than I will ever be, so I asked for some suggestions and went with what they recommended.

Do your research on the big stuff - what’s really important to you, for us it was a great bar and dance floor, a beautiful outside space and the location being reasonably convenient for family and friends.

And finally the personal touches were my favourite bits! I loved that we had a wine bottle from my aunts memorial with a candle in on the top table, and that some material from the bridesmaids dresses was wrapped about my bouquet. But really… no one notices these things apart from you - so do them if you really want to, but don’t stress about them either!"
