Civil Marriage License Facilities at Crockwell
At Crockwell we have three options which are all licensed for civil weddings, partnerships and naming ceremonies. For all three the wedding service is carried out by the Registrar, who must be contacted and booked by you. Crockwell is registered with the Northamptonshire Registrar

The Vaulted Barn is the original Crockwell ceremony space
The vaulted barn wedding venue is ideal for up to a maximum of 90 guests with oak beams, high ceilings, window alcoves with candles, and all the character that you could wish for. To accommodate more guests we have a live video link to two HD screens on the dance floor.

Marry among the trees in nature’s amphitheatre
The Orchard Pavilion is a wonderfully romantic location for your ceremony with a winding aisle from the garden. Seating can be for up to 200, which is the maximum capacity of the marquee for the wedding breakfast. This option is only practical in good weather, and the final decision will be up to the Registrar. There is no surcharge for outdoor weddings.

The Starlit Marquee for big celebrations
Also licensed is the main marquee area overlooking the lovely South Northamptonshire countryside. This can seat up to 200 guests and is warm and comfortable whatever the weather. After the ceremony the guests have drinks and photos outside on a fine day, or in the barn and bar. We set up the marquee for the wedding breakfast during this time.

Church Weddings in the parish of Eydon
If you are planning a church wedding you can get married in the parish where you live and come to Crockwell for your wedding reception. Alternatively, we can supply contact details of local churches including St Nicholas in Eydon for blessings or services.
Receptions
After the ceremony drinks can be served in the extensive gardens which look beautiful at any time of year and provide a wealth of photo opportunities.
The enormous walnut tree provides welcome shade on a hot day. In bad weather and over the winter months, reception drinks can be enjoyed in the newly refurbished cosy rustic bar and oak vaulted barn. The wedding breakfast is then served either in the barn venue for small numbers, or in our beautiful indoor starlit marquee which has underfloor heating.
The marquees are located inside the farm barns and are used all year round. The front wall has expansive windows with fantastic views of the south Northamptonshire countryside. In addition to our rustic bar, there is a separate but connected dance floor with a stage and starlit ceiling. The venue spaces all link together and during the evening, are opened up to create one large open plan space. We have plenty of free parking for your guests, and cars can be left here overnight.
